The Humanities suite of subjects consists of History, Geography and Religious Education.  These subjects are delivered in different ways throughout the college.  In Year 7, all three subject areas are part of our innovative iXL curriculum where they provide a different perspective on the extended projects that are covered.  In year 8, History, Geography  and RE are combined to form a Humanities course.  At Key Stage 4, both Geography and History are offered as traditional GCSE options along with a combined Humanities GCSE.  All students continue their Religious Education through our new Community Cohesion course although some students choose to opt for a discrete qualification in Religious Studies too.

The Humanities team regularly organise and run trips to give students the chance to experience first hand the locations and events that they study.
